R&R IN MYRTLE BEACH SC

 We arrived in Myrtle Beach SC for a two week "rest up" before heading north.

 All the SC State parks are alcohol free.

This is not to be confused with free alcohol!

Two weeks to "bike week"

This homemade trike has a 400hp 350 V8 Chevy engine.

 Great waves in 70deg water are a treat.

A wandering alligator in the Huntington Beach State Park swamp.

 Lots of birds on the campsite.

Anole lizards are numerous in South Carolina.

They can change from a dark brown to light green and "puff out" during mating or fighting season.

Great flowers.

Downtown has a new boardwalk and many attractions.

The SkyWheel was built last year.

It's 200ft high and provides a nice view of the city.

Lots of great Mexican food in the area.

We got "all you can eat crabs" at Crabbie Mikes!

I would like to try "kite boarding" when I grow up.

The big moon in May was a perfect end to our visit.
