This little girl found us this Christmas.

A CHRISTMAS TREE STORY

The hunt is on for our Christmas tree.

This year it will be a real tree from our property.
The house is ready for the holidays.
The latest snowfall makes our selection difficult.
Dressed for winter and off to our back yard. The choice was this small pine nestled in a growth of larger trees.

Over the last two days we have received 20cm of snow proudly displayed on an evergreen along Dorcas Bay Road.

WINTER WONERLAND

Maggie and Chris brave the weather and the vehicles.Our wetland has changed to winter wear!
Winds and snow have returned the ice to our cove.
Today was a sunny treat with temperatures of 3c.

IT HAS SNOWED!!

Colours of summer are fading.

Great weekend to go exploring.

Trees take on a fresh colour and shape.
Water, wind, snow and temperature are now reflected in the lake.

Driveways are still there but camouflaged by nature.

What a treat to just stroll in our great outdoors.

It has snowed every day for the last three days with low temperatures of -3c.

FIRST SNOW

First snow arrived early 1 Dec.

Highway 6 even required ploughing.

Late Fall in the Bay

Our now frozen cranberries are a winter delight for the birds.

Most pleasure craft are now "high and dry" for the winter.
