TOUCH DOWN IN NAPLES FLD

One of four hotels booked on
our trip to Naples Fld.
Maggie is packed in for the trip.
"Who needs an air bag"

Yes, Our pool of the day..
The trip views were
beautiful.

Maggie would "pop" out
once in awhile to help Chris
with the driving!

Arrival at Naples
RV RESORT

Beautiful greenery
throughout the park.

Most of the residents have
holidays lights and displays.
A quick view of the near by
canal confirmed the
gators were back.

Our rental unit was waiting for us.

Evidence of the recent hurricane
was still all-over the park. Many residents
 had lost their units
and the clean up was on going.

Downtown Naples gets into the
Holiday Spirit.

SUMMER 2017 CLOSEOUT

Chris and I send all our prayers to our many friends in the state of Florida.
May you and all  your country men be safe during the passing of  Hurricane  Irma.
GOD BLESS

Maggie and Dottie are down
for a rest period.

Our new inlay floors have
been a test of their 4X4
traction ability!!

The front veranda addition is close to completion and makes the front seating area more enjoyable and safer.

The night lighting has been installed
Bruce the bear now has a great
view of the river but I think
he still misses the lake.
A small garden at the entrance is a
welcoming touch

Glass panels on the front with railings
on the sides work for both
 viewingand ventilation.
 OFF TO THE BACKYARD

Our young fruit trees are quickly
taking to their new home.

Chris has the gardens out back
looking like one of her water
colour paintings.

The martin house,relocated
from Kellie's home, has been
occupied all summer by a bird
family with many offspring.

Landscaping along the garage
looks smart and requires low
maintenance.

The front lawn feeders, have
attracted a wide variety of birds.

This is the "sunset show" on the
river edge.

Many buildings in TARA date back
to the 19th century.

This beautiful "Smoke Bush"
displays the reason for it's name.

One time location of a dam site
on our river.

I placed a few lawn chairs on the river
front for the use of passersby to relax
and enjoy the view.

"BIG MOON"
Fogy Morning

Our river banks have a wide
variety of growth.
Across the river, rolls of hay are set
to dry. After harvest, another crop
will be planted.
This summer, the result of non-stop
raining is the large number of
 mushroom patches in our
wooded areas.
