RESORT BIKE TRAIL

Five miles of paved bike trails alongside one of Naples many canals makes for great wildlife viewing.

Florida has over a million alligators and you can easily encounter one around any fresh water. They are able to move at 30mph  and the record size is 13.5 feet.
This "cute" one down the road seems to be saying:
"Send me another tourist - they taste like chicken!"

 Blue Heron

 Crusin' Gator
 Seven to eight foot alligator.
When I approached this gator, it "snapped" disappeared!!!
 Happy Fellow

Most of Florida was formed from coral reefs.
Time for a CHIPOTLES meal.
 Great Mexican meals.
Side walk treat.

Resort Pool
Each day is a treat to enjoy the park setting.

The front of the resort is on the banks of one of the many canals in the Naples area.
During her visit, Kellie enjoyed many hours following the bike trails along the canal.
The large vary of wildlife are shown the following pics.

With daily temperatures in the high eighties, we headed for one of the many local beaches almost daily.
The fishing pier and beach in Naples was one of our favorites.

Dolphins were numerous at the beach.
Water temperatures in the 70's were a welcome treat.
