THOUGHTS OF DORCAS Bay

Wild life has been a big part of our joy of
sixteen years at Dorcas Bay.
Our orchard has put on a wonderful display
this year and I hope to make a batch of apple
wine in memory of time spent in its care.
We have planted a smaller orchard in Tara
and look forward to continued crops.
One of the many tour boats in
Tobermory harbor.
Kayak rentals at the waterfront in the village.
Dive Boats
A few years ago, Chris gave me a fishing
trip on the Bruce Isle as a birthday gift.
Trips to flower pot island.
A number of  Dive Shops located in Tobermory.

Looking forward to the drive to our
other home!
After many years of travelling to and
from the Bruce, the ride is still a treat.

Our creature cam captured many coyotes
on our property over the years.
The Wood Lilly is my favorite wild flower.

The back yard was a great gathering
place for all the family.
Visitors would drop in our wetlands daily.
Carp and bass were often around the
boat house.
My bridge, built in 2011, was a nice
project over our channel to the lake.
Amazing Skies

Doris has been visiting our property since
we purchased it in 2000. She is at least 40 years old.
Doris is on her way to her favorite
egg laying spot last June.
Another great sunset on the lake.
The old art work on the back deck.
Back yard view from the roof.
Our last day at Dorcas.
I would like to thank all my  blog visitors over the last years.
I hope to continue blogging Dorcas visits in the future
along with updates of our new old home in
TARA Ontario.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
