PICCOLO SPOLETO FESTIVAL

The festival is held in Charleston during the last two weeks in May. It is a combination of arts, music and theatre.

We browsed through the art displays at Marion Square.

Tearooms are setup by the various churches around the square and were most enjoyable.

At the tearoom we had homemade crab soup, shrimp salad and ham biscuit. Seafood and pasta were sampled on the trip back to Edisto. That sign is real and the installer is still waiting for his payment!

Looks great! So glad you're having some great days.

I can still taste the food, smell the salty fresh air and feel the shells beneath my feet.....mmmm. What a magical place on this earth.

I put a beautiful little whelk shell from Edisto in the flower planter at our front door. It makes everyone feel "whelkome"!
