Kellie and her pet javelina.

A very happy saguaro.
We walked many trails in the Catalina State Park.
An older saguaro watches over us.
While on a photo hunt off a horse trail, a horse back rider notice my presence high on a hill and asked me to remain still as her horse could be "spooked" since mountain lions have been sighted in the area. I encouraged her not to be worried because if I see a mountain lion the object passing her and the horse will be me on my way back to the camp ground. She took little comfort in my warning!
Kellie with her friend.
Note: many desert birds live in cacti.
