Off we go from Rocky Harbour on another overcast day made exciting by the beautiful scenery of NL.
We're on are way to the Tablelands in Gros Morne.
Picture of a happy crew aboard the good ship Prowler.
Shore line on our 200km day trip.
Parks Canada Discovery Centre.
The Tablelands in sight.
These formations were once the bottom of a ocean and are composed of the upper mantle of the earth.
Trout River is a small fishing village with a great place to eat.
The Seaside Restaurant is featured in "Where to Eat in Canada" and is well worth the trip.
Fresh cod was our choice.
Local fishers in the harbour.
Local crafts were a treat to see.
The area reminded us of Scotland or Ireland.
The harbour was both a good source of photos and cod frozen cod fish.
On the return trip the sun appeared and the area was highlighted for photos.
A short rest was a visual delight.
Moose were strolling in the distance.
It was truly a magic area to view.
WONDERFUL!
