HEADING "DOWN COUNTRY" NL.

Heading south through Gros Morne National Park, we sighted our 29th moose and two caribou. Not too bad for seven days on the ROCK.
The KOA outside the Visitor Centre is one of the best KOA's we have enjoyed.
Great feeling of outdoors with wonderful down home staff.
We are spending at least three days here as there is much to see and do.
This is our first view of the Tablelands. The tablelands and rocks around Trout River Pond are a slice of ancient ocean floor. It is one of the best examples of exposed mantle material in the world.
Tablelands as viewed across Bonne Bay.
The shoreline of Bonne Bay.
We completed our day with a great home campsite meal which included a huge portion of fresh cod from the nearby fish plant.
