"HOME HOME ON THE BAY"

MORNING GREETINGS FROM DORCAS BAY
Great Blue Heron
This heron had close to a seven foot wing span.
Our dock by the bay.
Many wild flowers are a result our large snow fall this year.
The combination of large snowfall and thin top soil resulted in the lost of this large
pine tree located between our home and orchard.
Some of the wild plants go through an amazing transformation to become
the ground cover we view almost everyday.
The view from our dining room.
"Bruce" can't take his eyes off the lake.
With the lake water much higher this spring, trout have entered the
wet land pond.

Friends enjoying tea on the deck.
Our bridge has became "rabbit central".

The Crane River has a beautiful walking trail close by.
Reflections on the wetland.

The local wild flowers are now appearing for  our annual
Orchid Festival.
Cleaning up the fallen pine tree.

Our ferry boat and tour boats are back for the season.
Activities in the inner harbour, like the weather, are warming up.
The Chi-Cheemaun is loading up for her daily runs to Manitoulin Island.
``Anne of the Bay`` welcomes the Blue Heron back for the season.
A water snake sunning on the shore.
Looks like a Humming season on the Bay.
