Around the first week in June, the local wild orchids put on a show that is rated as one of the top 10 places to view wild flowers in the world.
The Lady Slipper is tops in numbers but with over 40 different species of orchids on the peninsula, the Orchid Festival is a big attraction at the Bruce Peninsula National Park.
Common flowers like these Forget Me Nots take on a special appeal in the local settings.
