EL PASO TX

Our trip across Texas to El Paso was a scenic delight.
Wide open country made travel easy with many beautiful sights.
Many trains also travelled our route.
Home made meals always had a local taste.
We were lucky enough to stay at the Fort Bliss US ARMY RV Park.
The park was located near the base of the Franklin Mountians.
The Fort Bliss RV Park has to be the best RV Park in El Paso.
A treat was to experience snow early one morning!!
The homes around the city were most unique.
A view from a scenic drive 2000ft above El Paso.
Local home on the scenic drive.
The fence separating Mexico and the USA.
San Elizario Mission
We were lucky to meet a very kind local, Roberto, who told us much about the local history in his village. Roberto gave us a tour of the village which included a visit to the jail that Billy the Kid broke into to rescue his friends in the 1800's.
Socorro Mission
Ysleta Mission
Interesting history.
