It's very difficult to choose pics from BROOKGREEN Gardens as the area covers many acres of wild life, gardens and art. The many pieces of art are set in outdoor surrounds and easily require days to view and admire. This is truly a "one of a kind" attraction and should not be missed when visiting South Carolina.
I have attached their website below so just click and enjoy.
Bike trail from Huntington State Park.
The trail travels through a fresh water swamp which contains a number of alligators.
Entrance to BrookGreen Gardens at highway 17.
Main Gate
Flowers everywhere.
Art Setting
Many new displays are now telling the stories of the slaves that worked the plantations that comprise BrookGreen.
Some displays are set in various buildings.
Wild life add to the enjoyment of many displays.
Just had to add this Nova Scotia fisherman to my collection.
The children's garden is one of my favorites.
The exit route and the many living oak trees in the garden.
